Essential Listening Vol. 1 is aptly titled. It is a "must" for all aficionados of the guitar (including Hellecaster fans who already have the three CDs from which most of the material was garnered) - Bob Stone, famous for engineering the lion's share of Frank Zappa's 60+ albums, did an outstanding job in sonically aligning the collection, to arrive at a much gutsier Master (and with a far more pleasureable running sequence) than the originals themselves! And
check out the ripping three bonus tracks, proffered respectively
by John, Will and Noel Redding, to sweeten the kitty. "Essential
